This die extrudes a hollow oval shape. It fits in 4" Steel Pottery clay extruders. Great for making a small vase or bottle.
Extrusion Dimensions: The extrusion is about 3" x 1 1/2" with 6mm walls.
Die Dimensions: The die is 3 7/8" in diameter and 1" tall
The corresponding cutter is optional. It can be useful to cut a base that exactly matches the extruded shape. The cutter is 3/4" tall.

The die and cutter are 3D-printed using PLA filament. PLA is a plastic made from starch (not petrochemicals) and is compostable in industrial composters.
It is the same material used to make compostable eating utensils.

Care information
To clean, remove as much clay as possible. Let remaining clay dry completely. Soak in water and brush with soft-bristled brush. Not dishwasher safe.
