This set of two dies extrude shapes that can be used to make a small tray with a matching lid. The dies fit in NorthStar and TA Metal Works 4" square clay extruders.
The low wall around the top of the die prevents clay from oozing out sideways, as sometimes happens with square extruders.
The endcap cutter makes a shape that exactly matches the end of the tray.
Extrusion Dimensions: The tray extrusion is approximately 3 3/4" wide by 1 1/2" high.
Die Dimensions: The die is 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" and 1/4" thick.

Materials
The die and cutter are 3D-printed using PLA filament. PLA is a plastic made from starch (not petrochemicals) and is compostable in industrial composters.
It is the same material used to make compostable eating utensils.

Care information
To clean, remove as much clay as possible. Let remaining clay dry completely. Soak in water and brush with soft-bristled brush. Not dishwasher safe.
