This die extrudes a shape that is a square with rounded corners. The corners also have vertical ridges on the outside. It fits in 4" square North Star and TA Metal Works clay extruders.
The inner width of the extrusion is 70mm (~2 3/4"), and the outer width is 80mm (~3 1/4"). The minimum wall thickness is 5mm (~1/5"). The low wall around the top of the die prevents clay from oozing out sideways, as sometimes happens with square extruders.
The corresponding cutter is optional. It can be useful to cut a base that exactly matches the extruded shape. The cutter is 3/4" tall.

The die and cutter are 3D-printed using PLA filament. PLA is a plastic made from starch (not petrochemicals) and is compostable in industrial composters.
It is the same material used to make compostable eating utensils.

Care information
To clean, remove as much clay as possible. Let remaining clay dry completely. Soak in water and brush with soft-bristled brush. Not dishwasher safe.
