This die extrudes a heart shape. Could make a cute vase or candy box. It fits in 4" square North Star and TA Metal Works extruders.
Extrusion Dimensions: the extrusion is approximately 3 1/2" wide by 3 1/4" tall. The wall is 5mm thick.
Die Dimensions: The dies is 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" and approximately 1" thick. The low wall around the top of the die prevents clay from oozing out sideways, as sometimes happens with square extruders.
The corresponding cutter is optional. It can be useful to cut a base or lid that exactly matches the extruded shape. The cutter is 3/4" tall. The width of the rim is equal to the wall thickness, so if you flip the cutter over, you can use it as a guide to attach a flange to a lid.

The die and cutter are 3D-printed using PLA filament. PLA is a plastic made from starch (not petrochemicals) and is compostable in industrial composters.
It is the same material used to make compostable eating utensils.

Care information
To clean, remove as much clay as possible. Let remaining clay dry completely. Soak in water and brush with soft-bristled brush. Not dishwasher safe.
