These dies extrude coils -- a fundamental building block for ceramics. The dies make coils in sizes from 1/4" to 1" in 1/8" increments. Each die extrudes four coils simultaneously. The dies fit in most 4" square wall-mounted clay extruders including: NorthStar, Bailey, TA Metal Works, and the Amazon generic model.
The low wall around the top of the die prevents clay from oozing out sideways, as sometimes happens with square extruders.
The Set of Three Dies includes: 3/8", 1/2", and 5/8" or your choice of three coil sizes -- just message me.
The Set of Four Dies includes: 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", and 3/4" or your choice of four coil sizes -- just message me.
Extrusion Dimensions: Each die makes four coils of the same diameter. The sizes are: 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 7/8", and 1".
Die Dimensions: Each die is 4 3/4" x 4 1/4" and 1/2" thick.

The die and cutter are 3D-printed using PLA filament. PLA is a plastic made from starch (not petrochemicals) and is compostable in industrial composters.
It is the same material used to make compostable eating utensils.

Care information
To clean, remove as much clay as possible. Let remaining clay dry completely. Soak in water and brush with soft-bristled brush. Not dishwasher safe.
