This die extrudes three flat narrow strips that can be useful to weave into baskets. The width of each strip is 3/4". The die fits in NorthStar and TA Metal Works 4" square clay extruders.
The low wall around the top of the die prevents clay from oozing out sideways, as sometimes happens with square extruders.
Extrusion Dimensions: Each strip is 3/4" x 1/4".
Die Dimensions: The die is 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" and 1/4" thick.

The die and cutter are 3D-printed using PLA filament. PLA is a plastic made from starch (not petrochemicals) and is compostable in industrial composters.
It is the same material used to make compostable eating utensils.

Care information
To clean, remove as much clay as possible. Let remaining clay dry completely. Soak in water and brush with soft-bristled brush. Not dishwasher safe.
