This die extrudes a shape that can be used to make test tiles. It fits in 5" square Scott Creek clay extruders.
The test tile height is about 2 1/2", the base is 1 3/4" wide, and the thickness of each section is about 1/4" (as extruded).
One side of the tile has rounded features to test the glaze breaking; the other side has angular features. There is space at the top of the angular side imprint a stamp, if you wish. There is room at the top to put a small hole, if you like to hang your finished tiles.
The die is 5" x 5" and about 3/8" thick.

The die and cutter are 3D-printed using PLA filament. PLA is a plastic made from starch (not petrochemicals) and is compostable in industrial composters.
It is the same material used to make compostable eating utensils.

Care information
To clean, remove as much clay as possible. Let remaining clay dry completely. Soak in water and brush with soft-bristled brush. Not dishwasher safe.
