This is a set of the three basket weave dies for the Scott Creek 4" round clay extruder. These dies extrude shapes that can be used to weave baskets out of clay strips. The set includes one die each that is three, four, and five "strands" wide.
Each die produces three strips at a time, speeding basket production.
Extrusion Dimensions: Each extrusion is 1/4" by 3/4", 1", or 1 1/4" wide.
Die Dimensions: Each die is 4 1/2" in diameter and about 5/16" thick.

If you happen to also have a 2" handheld extruder, you might find these basket weave dies for 2" extruders useful. With them, you can practice weaving baskets without cleaning the large extruder.

The die and cutter are 3D-printed using PLA filament. PLA is a plastic made from starch (not petrochemicals) and is compostable in industrial composters.
It is the same material used to make compostable eating utensils.

Care information
To clean, remove as much clay as possible. Let remaining clay dry completely. Soak in water and brush with soft-bristled brush. Not dishwasher safe.
