This die extrudes a shape to make a small olive dish. The die bolts onto a Peter Pugger pugmill. Please use bolts at least 1" long to attach the die to the end of the pugmill. (Bolts are not included). The die is to be mounted with the lettering facing out.
When using a die on the outlet of a pugmill, slow down the extrusion rate to lower the pressure on the clay.
The end cutter is optional. It can be useful to cut a matching shape to close off the tray ends.
Extrusion dimensions: The overall height of the extrusion is 1 7/8" tall and 2 3/4" wide. The extrusion thickness is 7 mm.
Die Dimensions: The die is 4 1/2" in diameter and 15 mm thick.

The die and cutter are 3D-printed using PLA filament. PLA is a plastic made from starch (not petrochemicals) and is compostable in industrial composters.
It is the same material used to make compostable eating utensils.

Care information
To clean, remove as much clay as possible. Let remaining clay dry completely. Soak in water and brush with soft-bristled brush. Not dishwasher safe.
