North Star Big Blue 6 - Basket Weave - 5 Strand - Clay Extruder Die

This die extrudes a shape that can be used to weave baskets out of clay strips. Each strip is five "strands" wide. The die fits in 6" NorthStar Big Blue extruders.
The eight patterns on the die are identical, so you can produce strips to weave faster.
Extrusion Dimensions: Each pattern is 1 1/4" x 1/4".
Die Dimensions: The die is 6" x 7" and about 3/4" thick.

The die and cutter are 3D-printed using PLA filament. PLA is a plastic made from starch (not petrochemicals) and is compostable in industrial composters.
It is the same material used to make compostable eating utensils.

Care information
To clean, remove as much clay as possible. Let remaining clay dry completely. Soak in water and brush with soft-bristled brush. Not dishwasher safe.
