North Star Big Blue 6 - Adapter for 4" Dies

This is an adapter that fits LittleChip Tools' and North Star's "four inch" dies in the North Star Big Blue 6" clay extruder.
The opening in the adapter is 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" which will accommodate the LittleChip Tools dies (4 1/4") and North Star dies (4 3/8"). If you have other dies you would like to adapt for the Big Blue, please contact me.
Die Dimensions: The adapter die is 6" x 7" and about 1/2" thick.

The die and cutter are 3D-printed using PLA filament. PLA is a plastic made from starch (not petrochemicals) and is compostable in industrial composters.
It is the same material used to make compostable eating utensils.

Care information
To clean, remove as much clay as possible. Let remaining clay dry completely. Soak in water and brush with soft-bristled brush. Not dishwasher safe.
