This die extrudes a trench shape that could be useful to make business card holders or perhaps kitchen sponge holders.

Extrusion Dimensions:  The extrusion is 1 1/2" tall and about 1 3/8" wide.  The walls are 5mm.

Die Dimensions: The die is 2 3/4" in diameter and 1" tall.

This die is compatible with the Scott Creek and Shimpo / Nidec handheld extruders. The dies screws onto the extruder in place of the endcap.

The knurled outer surface gives a better grip when putting the die on or taking it off.

Materials

The die and cutter are 3D-printed using PLA filament. PLA is a plastic made from starch (not petrochemicals) and is compostable in industrial composters.

It is the same material used to make compostable eating utensils.

Care information

To clean, remove as much clay as possible. Let remaining clay dry completely. Soak in water and brush with soft-bristled brush. Not dishwasher safe.

Compatibility

LittleChip Tools is not affiliated with any extruder manufacturer. The dies are designed to be compatible with the extruders, but said compatibility is the responsibility of this store and not the extruder manufacturer. All trademarks and IP for the extruders and for the dies are the property of the respective companies.

Perfect fit!

I ordered wall attachment for my Scott creek hand held extruder. I have the extra long one and it fit perfectly. Makes it much easier to extruder leaving a free hand to direct the clay. I don’t have wall space, so I attached it to a board. Now I can store it away under my work table and lay it on my work table to extruder the clay. Plus I ordered more die’s. They fit my extruder perfectly. Made of heavy plastic. Yes, I’d order again.

Not sure of forms function

Form comes out fine but I really do not know its function. Guess I thought it was smaller to use for feet on a pot. Would be helpful to give examples of its function on website. The others dies ordered are fine.
