This die extrudes a test tile shape with horizontal ridges on one side and grooves on the other. There is a "B" version of this die that has one flat side to enable stamping, if you prefer.
Extrusion Dimensions: The extrusion is 1 3/4" tall and about 1/4" in the center.
Die Dimensions: The die is 2 3/4" in diameter and 1" tall.
This die is compatible with the Scott Creek and Shimpo / Nidec handheld extruders. The dies screws onto the extruder in place of the endcap.
The knurled outer surface gives a better grip when putting the die on or taking it off.

The die and cutter are 3D-printed using PLA filament. PLA is a plastic made from starch (not petrochemicals) and is compostable in industrial composters.
It is the same material used to make compostable eating utensils.

Care information
To clean, remove as much clay as possible. Let remaining clay dry completely. Soak in water and brush with soft-bristled brush. Not dishwasher safe.
