This is a set of the three basket weaving dies for 2" handheld extruders. It includes one each of the three, four, and five "strand" dies.
Each die extrudes a shape that can be used to weave baskets out of clay strips. Each fits in 2" handheld extruders, including brands like Scott Creek, Shimpo / Nidec, and Kemper.
Extrusion Dimensions: Each die extrudes one basket-weaving strip which is 1/4" thick and either 3/4", 1" or 1 1/4" wide.
Die Dimensions: Each die is about 2 1/4" in diameter and 3/16" thick.

Materials
The die and cutter are 3D-printed using PLA filament. PLA is a plastic made from starch (not petrochemicals) and is compostable in industrial composters.
It is the same material used to make compostable eating utensils.

Care information
To clean, remove as much clay as possible. Let remaining clay dry completely. Soak in water and brush with soft-bristled brush. Not dishwasher safe.
