This cutter cuts a clay slab to make a 9" x 5" bread loaf pan.  It's a collaboration between LittleChip Tools and Clay by Stacia. Stacia designed the template, and LittleChip translated it into a cutter (with Stacia's permission, of course).

The cutter measures 17 1/2" x 11 1/4". It can be used on clay slabs up to 3/8" thick.

Full instructions on how to use the template are available on Clay by Stacia's Instragram feed.

The cutter's horizontal and vertical bracing helps keep the cutter shape and is useful to store the cutter.

If you would like just the template and not the full cutter, you can find it at Clay by Stacia's Etsy Shop.

Materials

The die and cutter are 3D-printed using PLA filament. PLA is a plastic made from starch (not petrochemicals) and is compostable in industrial composters.

It is the same material used to make compostable eating utensils.

Care information

To clean, remove as much clay as possible. Let remaining clay dry completely. Soak in water and brush with soft-bristled brush. Not dishwasher safe.

Compatibility

LittleChip Tools is not affiliated with any forms manufacturer. The cutters are designed to be compatible with the forms, but said compatibility is the responsibility of this store and not the forms manufacturer. All trademarks and IP for the forms and for the cutters are the property of the respective companies.

Love it!

I used it once and I am waiting for the piece to dry before it gets the first fire (bisgue). Have to see if I have any join issues.

Looks great. I haven’t used yet

Someone in my pottery class purchased this and I had to have one. Looking forward to using it this week.
